Cameron Lake sits right beside the town of Fenelon Falls, connected to Sturgeon Lake by the lock and falls that give the town its name. It’s one of the more accessible lakes in the Kawarthas, with shops, restaurants, and marinas within a few minutes of most shoreline properties.
At 6.7 kilometres long, the lake has room for boating, and its shoreline mixes rockier stretches with gentler, sheltered bays, giving buyers more variety than some of the lakes further into the Shield. Fishing here is good for smallmouth and largemouth bass, walleye, pike, and the occasional muskie.
Because of its location, Cameron Lake works well for buyers who want waterfront living without giving up walkable access to a coffee shop or a hardware store. It’s a lake I show often to clients weighing convenience against a more remote cottage feel.
