Each lake has its own character. Some are busy boating lakes with locks and marinas, others are quiet, with rocky shoreline and Crown land. Some offer year-round living near towns like Lakefield, Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls, while others are mostly seasonal cottage country.
